Often when I meet customers and use the term ‘SEO’ I’m usually met with blank stares of confusion or the remark ‘what is SEO?’. While SEO is a commonly used term in IT circles it is still a complete unknown to the rest of the public. Sometimes it’s easy to trot the acronym off in a conversation and forget that it’s still seen as jargon to most non-techy types.
